Switch utilities + broadband for your new home

Why this matters

Notify your energy supplier the week of completion with the meter reads on the day. You're free to switch to any supplier from day one — you're not tied to the previous owner's tariff.

Broadband typically takes 7–14 days to activate. Order before completion so you're not without internet on day one.

Don't forget council tax, water, and TV licence. A move-in concierge service can handle all of these in one go if you'd rather not juggle five different signups.
